Move to the BEAT - Sunday 23rd November - Day Retreat With Susi Wick
The Master of 4-BEAT Rocket Yoga Susi Wick is joining RetreatMe for a dynamic, deeply immersive experience on Sunday 23rd November, Moving from Yang to Yin, from Fire to Ice.
Arrive at the space to a warm welcome of hot teas and power ball energy treats preparing you for a two hour practice of opposites.
We start with a dynamic Vinyasa practice based on Rocket yoga which is similar to Ashtanga but with more creative freedom. Moving through a strong sequence of asanas keeping a deep slow breath to a steady beat of music.
The focus on breath makes this practice a deeply immersive & meditative experience. This part of the practice includes the chance to play with arm balances and inversions but options for all are given.
You will take a break, with hot teas, savoury and sweet snacks then go back to your mat to explore a carefully crafted Yin sequence of long held postures working into our cooling practice. Working along specific meridian lines to create space for energy (Qi) to flow freely to support regeneration and deep healing.
You will then continue to heal your body with a sound bath, where your body will be “bathed” in sound waves created by the Himalayan bowls, Moon Gong and Koshi Chimes, not actively listening, you simply lay down, close your eyes and allow the vibrations to wash over you. The tones and frequencies interact with you body and mind encouraging deep relaxation.
A beautiful way to treat yourself on a Sunday afternoon.
Date & Time:
Sunday 23rd November 14.00 - 18.00
Address:
Wellnest Chantry House, Suite 3, Victoria Road, Kirkstall, LS5 3JB
Price
£60 for your perfect Sunday Treat.
