Samantha Timothy
Samantha is the founder of RetreatMe.
Qualified General Nurse NMC RCN (non practicing) CPCAB Counselling Level II, DIP GST. Level I Qi-Gong Practitioner.
Qualified as a nurse in Edinburgh in 2021, worked in Acute Medical Admissions as her full time position, but worked all her spare time on the Breast Cancer Ward at the Western General, the most rewarding time in her nursing career.
She then became a Hospital and Theatre Manager in Liverpool by the age of 24, curating the care of private patients, then into medical devices sales for 11 years.
Packed a lot into the early years, burn out was REAL.
Yoga provided time and space to breathe to be alone, no telephone, no laptop.
Two children later and an intense job managing a spinal neurosurgical practice, human contact was minimal.
Making time for self was important, meeting Amanda Winburn was a life saver for Samantha so when Amanda chose to move back to London she was devastated.
So she created a reason for Amanda to come back to Leeds, and after about few practice runs RetreatMe was born in September 2024.
Passionate about people, about creating something thats special and a little different.
RetreatMe is about the best instructors, in the most beautiful spaces, with fabulous food.
You will be treated with RetreatMe.

Amy Manancourt
Amy’s aim as a facilitator is for others to feel at home in their bodies, for their bodies to serve as safe and stable anchors, and for them to be able to listen to the subtle and not-so-subtle whispers of their bodies. Her entire life has been dedicated to working with the body, exploring the art of embodiment, and learning about movement and the human condition. Her favorite question has always been ‘why,’ and this question has driven her teaching approach. She has no interest in doing things simply because they have always been done that way or gathering knowledge for the sake of it. She learns and explores what will make a difference first to herself, then to her students, and ultimately to the collective.
She has traveled many paths to get to where she is now, earning qualifications in Dance performance, Yoga, Tantra, Somatic Shamanism, Massage, and Energy Medicine, with each of these fields containing many specialized offshoots. On her personal journey, she has spent years delving into the more esoteric world of plant medicine, astrology, and spiritual connection. Yet, she always returns to the body.
